I couldn’t wait to write this blog post, because if there is one question I get quite often, it’s “I’m coming through, where are some good places to eat and such??” I love sharing these adorable local businesses! Here are my absolute favorite spots in the central Little Rock, Arkansas area.
Favorite Spots in Little Rock
- Flying Fish– for lunch. Downtown Little Rock. Parking is the easiest right on the road where they are located or the public parking spots under the highway bridge down to the left of the location. I get the grilled fish tacos or the grilled salmon plate *make it snappy*. Here is their menu.
- @ the Corner– downtown Little Rock. The breakfast is AMAZING.
- Nexus Coffee & Creative– downtown Little Rock. This place is the bee’s knees when it comes to the cutest coffee shop that has the BEST coffee. Their roasters are the highest quality, and anything you get, you really can’t go wrong. One of my favorite orders there is their iced honey vanilla latte or their in-house nitro cold brew sampler.
- The Pantry West– CHEESECAKE. Just go.
- Kemuri– Sushi.
- Two Sisters Uptown– Our very own Bishop’s sisters’ second restaurant location. Everything is amazing, but GRITS AND GREENS.
Favorite Spots in North Little Rock/Sherwood/Jacksonville
- The North Bar– FIRE good gourmet burgers. I get the fried pickle bacon burger. The sweet potato fries are so good too.
- Bennett’s by Keith & Co– One of our own (Darin Keith and his family are in our church). You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. My personal fav is the tacos and homemade salsa.
- Roma Italian Restaurant– We’re talking THE BEST Italian you’ve ever had. From the homemade yeast rolls to the to-die-for Alla Panna sauce (mixture of tomato and alfredo sauce), you’ll prob want to come back the next day too.
- Two Sisters Catering & Cafe– The first location that our Bishop’s sisters opened. The jalapeno chicken, the meatloaf, the grits and greens, the club, IT’S alllll GOOD.
Favorite Spots in Conway
- Mike’s Place– Bang Bang Shrimp. SO GOOD. A fancy place for dinner.
- Pasta Grill– They have it all. Italian, steaks, seafood. SO GOOD.
- Los 3 Potrillos– Best Mexican in the whole state, I’m convinced. Fresh homemade tortillas.
- YGFBFKitchen– I know the name is definitely frustrating to type in Google haha but GO.
- Wunderhaus Kitchen– Hunter hates this place lol, but I LOVE it. Every ingredient is completely locally sourced. True farm to table.
- Holly’s Kitchen Cooking– True home cooking, like I like to cook. Southern, lunch cafe style. So good.
- T.H.I.N.K. Coffee– Yeeesssss. I get the iced Brainiac with oat milk or the iced Irish blessing with oat milk. They have two locations, one is a drive-thru only, other is an actual walk-in and stay.
- Share the Love Kids Club– This place is just amazing. Right next door to a GREAT coffee shop (Zeteo Coffee),that has food too. It’s a play place for kids. Kids can play with knowledgeable staff watching and interacting with them, while mamas can get coffee and work or visit! You can buy day passes and the babies are free.
